Hubs

Application hubs are listed as vertical tabs on the left side of the application. The program hubs include: Home, Dashboard, Tasks, Inbox, and System. The following table lists a summary of each hub.

Hub Description
Home

Provides a central location for creating and running:

A banner message may appear at the top of the Home hub. Administrators can set this message in the Entities Master Setup system form. This message also appears on log on, and when a user changes entities.

From the Home hub, you can also access your shortcuts and pins. (See Workspace customization)

Dashboard Displays Widgets that were added to the Team Dashboard and My Dashboard. From the Dashboard hub, you can add and remove widgets located on My Dashboard, and open the query linked to the widget.  
Tasks Opens the Task Viewer, and displays the status of each task assigned to you and tasks you assigned to other symplr Provider users, if applicable. From the Tasks hub, you can create a new task and open an existing task. You can also open the Task Detail form from the Tasks hub to edit the task details and mark the task complete.
Inbox

Displays Reports , Documents, Packets, and Profiles that have been delivered or are waiting to be delivered. (See Manage inbox hub items for a review of additional Inbox features.)

Note

Because some forms contain a form-specific inbox, this inbox will always be referred to as either the inbox hub or your symplr Provider inbox.

System

Provides a central location for administering the symplr Provider system. From the System hub, you can quickly access forms to set up entities, users, and user groups, and update the provider display order. You can also access the Security Manager form, where you can administer security for all symplr Provider forms, queries, documents, and other symplr Provider items.
